How bets are graded at Pinnacle

Introduction

At Pinnacle, all bets are graded in accordance with our betting rules and terms and conditions. To avoid misunderstandings, we recommend that you review the relevant rules before placing any bet. If you need help understanding how a market will be graded, our customer service team is available to assist.

Rules hierarchy

When more than one rule may apply to a bet, the following order of precedence is used:

  1. Market Rules
  2. Sport Rules
  3. General Rules

This means that if a Market Rule applies to a specific bet, it takes priority over the Sport Rule. If neither a Market Rule nor a Sport Rule applies, the General Rules will be used.

Before you place a bet

Please make sure you are familiar with the relevant betting rules and terms and conditions before placing any wager. Understanding how a market is settled can help you place bets with greater confidence and avoid unexpected outcomes.

Examples

Live Soccer Handicap

Live Soccer Handicap markets are graded in line with Soccer Market Rule 6. Please refer to that rule for the specific settlement conditions that apply to live handicap markets.

Tennis

Tennis bets are graded according to Tennis Rule 1. The way a bet is settled depends on the market type and whether the relevant sets have been completed. Please review the rule carefully before placing your bet.

Settled markets finality

All settled markets are final after 72 hours, and no queries will be entertained after that period. Within 72 hours after markets are settled, Pinnacle will only reset or correct results due to human error, system error, or mistakes made by the referring results source.

Live scoreboard

Pinnacle aims to display live match information to bettors via a scoreboard provided by a third party. Pinnacle cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information displayed on this scoreboard. Any incorrect scores or stats displayed on the scoreboard are not grounds for bets to be voided. In-Play bets are placed using the score, corner, or booking information displayed on the market offering and/or Bet Slip at time of placement, and only information displayed incorrectly in these locations gives grounds for bets to be voided.
